Transient Dynamic Simulation Analysis of Pressure Sensor for the Electrothermal Chemical Gun

The electrothermal chemical gun’s pressure sensor is impacted by the high pressure, strong transient gas during the firing. By using the finite element method, combining the theory of interior ballistic, the transient dynamics response simulation calculation of electrothermal chemical gun pressure sensor by the action of high pressure gas was carried out during the launch. The change of stress and strain for each part of the pressure sensors under loading was obtained. Results show that the sensor structure deforms under the action of high-pressure gas, and the stress and strain value of the sensor components reaches the maximum when the loading pressure is maximum, among which the stress and strain of seal diaphragm of the sensor is the maximum. the results can be used as reference for the design of the pressure sensor of electrothermal chemical gun.
