<正>Formation of the 90S pre-ribosome before 5’ external transcribed spacer （5’ ETS） A0cleavage （A0-intact 90S） is a key event in the biogenesis of 40S small subunit ribosome （SSU）.Using cryo-EM, a plasmid-derived 90S pre-ribosome （P-90S） which represents the A0-intact 90S was solved at 4.8?overall resolution （with a core map solved at 3.9?）. Two states of the P-90S which are termed as closed state and open state were isolated by local 3D classification. We found
