论文摘要
<正>Species identification of bones currently relies on relatively few taxonomic specialists that have access to large and well-curated bone collections. I aim to develop a method for identifying species from a single bone in the absence of specialist taxonomy training. 3D shape analyses (i.e. geometric morphometrics) are routinely used to study variation in bone shape among species, primarily to understand the role of environment and other drivers of shape
